Alicia Gill Rossiter


Dr. Alicia Gill Rossiter is an Associate Professor and Program Director of the Veteran to Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program at the University of South Florida College of Nursing.  She also serves as the College of Nursing Military Liaison.  Dr. Rossiter retired after 25 years of service in the United States Army Nurse Corps on active duty and later in the United States Air Force Reserve.  Her military experience has the been the impetus behind her research and scholarly work which includes women veterans and military sexual trauma, the effects of parental military service on military connected children, and transitioning needs of medics and corpsmen into the professional role of nursing.  She is a Fellow in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and in the American Academy of Nursing and is currently serving as the Co-Chair of the Military/Veteran Health Expert Panel.
